I'm a horrible blogger. Hahaa! I always forget to take pictures when we're out doing things or don't feel like the things we do are important enough to write about. Guess it's a good thing I'm not paid to blog - I'd be broke!
And speaking of getting paid - I am hardcore searching for a job. I thought I would absolutely LOVE being a stay at home wife, but truth be told - it's just boring! Maybe if we were rich it would be so much more fun!! I would shop all day or go to the spa for a massage - hours at a time. But alas, this is not my life. Pinterest is about as close as I will get to any of these things! :)
I also find not having a schedule or somewhere to be is totally counter productive for me. I tell myself, "I'll get to that laundry later" (you know, after Ellen) or "The dishes can wait! Heck, I'll be home all day tomorrow and then next day and the next..." It's just horrible!
I'm working on getting better at not putting things off until later. I know just because I'm home every day doesn't mean these things can wait, but it's been so nice to do everything at my leisure!! We've been able to take the dogs on long walks every day - which they love and now expect! I've even introduced some new recipes into our previously small repertoire. See all of that Pinteresting has paid off after all!
But I am so ready to start something new here. I am really looking forward to a regular schedule and the opportunity to meet new people. It will come in time. Until then - I'm soaking up all the days of resting, Pinteresting, and putting off! I know once they're gone I'll miss them!
Best of luck finding a job! I've been a lady of leisure for far too long and know all too well the problems of having enormous amounts of free time and no structure to your day. I can't wait till I can enter the work force again - you know in some country I'm allowed to legally work in =)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know someone else out there understands. People think I'm crazy for not enjoying all of this. ;) I am, I'm just ready for things to be "normal." P.S. Loved you blog about having kiddos! We feel the same way! :)
